This photographic project seeks to dismantle the dichotomy that exists between European architecture and the bodies that have been historically depicted in those spaces. It's an attempt to reclaim those predominantly white spaces by placing them into them the people that have been formerly prohibited and excluded from, and systematically oppressed by those spaces. The act of introducing those bodies into places on Bowdoin College's campus, like Hubbard Hall, Moulton Union, and Hawthorne-Longfellow Library, without interacting with complexities of the space around them forces acknowledgement of those spaces without them.
